Founded by Craig Fettes; I found that strong, sound independent advice coupled with a lack of passion or enthusiasm was in short supply for Clients at all levels, so I decided to change this by investing my energy in opening Black Kettle.
On site visits you will not see us with briefcases or laptops, no sharp suits, no leather bound note pads and definitely no mobile phones ringing.

My career has been nearly 30 years in the making with the best yet to come. From learning about the convenience food sector at the age of 21, managing retail units on the London High Streets and Forecourts, to becoming an Area Manager for Shell, Commercial Director and Operations Directors for the largest Contract Caterers, I have a lot of sound food service business advice to offer.
I specialise in three areas, operational success, commercial success and building on both.
I have been lucky enough to work with some brilliant businesses and brilliant people who in one way or another are supporting me now with Black Kettle.
I am surrounded by energetic, talented individuals who like me want to make a difference when it comes to successful food service businesses.
I communicate well at all levels and especially the team who are delivering the service.
I love what I do and I am extremely passionate about food service and helping businesses ‘get it right’. There are a lot of consultancies out there and a lot of people ask me – why should I use you? I could say what everyone else says but honestly, I like to think that I am genuine, my career speaks for itself. I’m practical, approachable and if I don’t think something will work I will tell you and then work with you to produce exactly what will work as close to your demands as possible.
